His expertise includes financial modeling, cost management, budgeting, strategic planning, and profitability optimization, helping businesses strengthen operational performance, enhance corporate governance, and make informed strategic decisions.
He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management, awarded Magna Cum Laude, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Auditor, graduated from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. His academic background is complemented by executive management studies at INCAE Business School and specialized training in IFRS for SMEs.
Throughout his career, he has served as an advisor to boards of directors, a consultant to family-owned businesses, a mentor to accounting professionals, and a leader within professional organizations such as the Guatemalan Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (IGCPA) and the College of Economic Sciences Professionals. His participation in national and international conferences, together with his teaching experience at private universities, has established him as a recognized authority in financial modernization, regulatory implementation, and the advancement of professional business practices in Guatemala.
