However, one of their biggest challenges is ensuring a transparent and efficient management of the donations and funds they receive, both from local and international sources. Donor trust directly depends on their ability to account clearly and comply with increasingly demanding regulatory frameworks.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Challenges for NGOs in fund management:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Compliance with the Special Verification Intendancy (IVE) <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal framework requires NGOs to report financial movements to prevent the misuse of resources. Non-compliance may result in penalties and loss of credibility. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Transparency in accountability<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Domestic and international donors expect clear and regular reports on the use of funds. A lack of transparency may limit access to future donations. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Standardization of financial reports <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organismos multilaterales y agencias de cooperaci\u00f3n requieren formatos espec\u00edficos para reportar la ejecuci\u00f3n de proyectos. Adaptarse a estos est\u00e1ndares es fundamental para mantener el financiamiento. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Management of restricted and unrestricted funds <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Differentiating and properly managing funds allocated to specific projects versus those for general use is key to avoiding mismanagement or accounting confusion.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Monitoring and impact audits <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An increasing number of donors are demanding external audits and indicators that demonstrate the social impact of the resources invested.
